Another understated post. Most of us are guilty on not thinking big enough. If you need proof, look at the tree you planted in your yard 10 years ago and the growth it has achieved. Now apply that model to other things - what could you have achieved in that time?

Now look at that in terms of your children’s growth and you shudder at how quickly the time has passed!

I’ll turn 70 in a couple of weeks; I have experienced a substantial roll-off of capacity and performance over the last three years. My targets are constantly shifting downwards.

Your 1000day journey leads to very helpful thoughts and ideas for me. Haha however at 80yo, I now consider that 80 is old age or maybe 75. Not 60.! Maybe 60 is old for those who have been sedentary but ......
